RAILROAD BONDING BITS
 |
Railroad
Bonding Bits
Bonding Bits are designed for drilling holes for bonding wires in track circuit
signal work. Cobalt Bonding Bits are made with a slow helix and a very heavy
web for drilling in the head or web of heavy duty rails. |

RAILROAD TIE BORING BITS
 |
Railroad
Tie Boring Bits - Single Flute
Single Flute Tie Boring Bits are specifically designed for drilling spike holes
in railway cross ties. The single flute acts in a screw-like movement, feeding
itself into the material while removing maximum chip removal. The open flute
design prevents chip packing and reduces wood burning. Single flute drills are
also known as Bobbin Bits.
Railroad
Tie Boring Bits - Two Flute
Double Flute Tie Boring Bits are specifically designed for drilling holes in
railway cross ties. The double flute design combines ease of penetration with
rapid chip removal in deep hole, hardwood drilling.
Carbide
Tipped Railroad Tie Boring Bits - Two Flute
Carbide Tipped Tie Boring Bits are designed for drilling all types of wooden
railway cross ties and pressure treated lumber. The special fluting design prevents
clogging and has a large chip storage area for rapid removal. |

RAILROAD TRACK BITS
 |
Railroad
Track Bits
The Flat Beaded Track Bit was designed for heavy duty portable track repair work
in the field and will fit the various machines in common use. They are available
in a single end or a cost saving double end style. Both styles are also available
with a super hard nitride coating for increased tool life of 50% to 300% depending
upon conditions.
Double
End Tracks Bit Tip Protector
Tip protector is inserted into the drill chuck to protect the drill tip from
possible damage when drilling with double end style track bit. |
