BELLHANGER'S DRILLS
Bellhanger's page Bellhanger's Extension Drill Bits are designed for drilling holes through masonry, concrete block, etc... so wiring can be threaded through these holes for cable TV, telephone lines, alarm systems, computer networks, and other electrical installations. Drills have a hole in the flute, sometimes called a fish eye, for connecting wire to the drill and then used to pull or fish wire, cable, or pipe through the wall. These drills are also known as Bellhanger Drill Bits or Bell-Hanger's Bits, Installer Bits, Feeler Bits, Fishing Bits, Skylight Drills, Spotlight Drills, Installer's Feeler Bits or Wire Installing Drill Bits.
BODY DRILLS

CONE DRILLS
page 118 High Speed Steel 2 Flute Stepped Cone Drills are designed for drilling and enlarging perfectly round holes from 1/8" to 1-1/2" diameter in thin materials up to 1/8" thick. No pilot hole is required. Self-starting split point prevents walking. Each hole is automatically deburred by the cutting edge of the next larger size. Ideal for drilling sheet metal, non-ferrous metals, plastics, PVC, laminates, or wood. They are also known as Step Drill Bits or Step Drills.
CORE DRILLS
Core drills are designed to enlarge previously drilled, cored, or punched holes 75% of the tool diameter. They have a 30 degree relieved chamfer nose suitable for drilling rough cores.

DIE DRILLS
Die Drills are designed for drilling into 48-65 RC hardened steels. They produce very accurate holes and can be used as a reamer.

DOUBLE END DRILLS
page 16 Double End Stub Drills are fluted and split pointed on both ends and have a solid center shank for chucking. They will drill twice as many holds as a Single End Drill for only a fraction more in cost. When one end gets dull or breaks, it can be quickly reversed in drill chuck to reduce change-over time, overall costs, and inventory.
GROUND DRILL BLANKS (HSS)
Drill blanks page Ground Drill Blanks are used for the sizing of holes, stock for router bits, and other small tools, and can be used for gauges, drifts, punches, rollers, locating pins, and spindles, knockout pins, etc.
DRYWALL CUTOUT BITS
Drywall Cutout Bits are used whenever a cutout is required in drywall and our tile cutout bits are for ceramic wall tile and and other materials.

LONG BOY DRILLS
Long Boy Drills are designed for deep hole drilling in tougher materials or drilling in difficult to reach locations using any 3/8" or larger 3-jaw chuck drill. They are also used by roofing and framing contractors for drilling beams. 135° split point improves penetration rates, reduces location error, and helps maintain accuracy. They are also known as Contractor's Long Boy Drills or simply as Long Boy Drills.

OIL HOLE DRILLS
Extra Long Taper Shank Oil Hole Drills are designed for deep hole drilling and where heavy feed conditions are required. Coolant flow virtually eliminates chip packing and other problems common to deep hole drilling applications.
page 92
SHEETERS DRILLS
Extra Length Sheeters Drills are used in the erection and assembly of corrugated metal buildings and other sheet metal applications. The 135° long sweep split point ensures easy centering and less breakage in hand held drilling operations.
page 17
TAPER SHANK DRILLS
Extra Length Taper Shank Drills are designed for drilling very deep holes in ferrous or non-ferrous metals, or drilling in difficult to reach locations. Extra length taper shank drills are preferred for drilling medium to large diameter deep holes as they can require a huge amount of rotational power on the shank for drilling.
page 102
VENT DRILLS
Extra Length Vent Drills are designed for drilling vent holes in rubber tire molds and for drilling very small diameter deep holes in metal. They are sometimes referred to as Small Diameter Long Boy Drills.
