of drill up to 700%.
- Jobber Drill - Silver-Gold Zirconium Finish
- For machining cast iron, brass, and aluminum die castings. Out performs Tin in many
applications. Zirconium is harder than Tin and remains stable at higher cutting
temperatures.
- Jobber
Drill - Reduced Shank - 1/4"
- Reduced shank drills are used for drilling
holes larger than the capacity of a 1/4, 3/8, or 1/2 drill chuck. Reduced shank drills should only be used for light to medium
duty drilling applications as they do not have the torque strength of a straight shank
drill. Reduced shank is not as hard as the body of drill to allow
more flex and less breakage.
- Jobber

- (4" Length)
- Reduced shank drills are used for drilling
holes larger than the capacity of a 1/4, 3/8, or 1/2 drill chuck. Reduced shank drills should only be used for light to medium
duty drilling applications as they do not have the torque strength of a straight shank
drill. Reduced shank is not as hard as the body of drill to allow
more flex and less breakage.
- Jobber
Drill - Reduced Shank - 3/8"

drill. Reduced shank is not as hard as the body of drill to allow
more flex and less breakage.
- Jobber Drill - Heavy Duty - Double Margin - Bright
Finish
- Double Margin Jobber Drills are designed
for drilling close tolerance holes. Their
use often eliminates reaming. They are manufactured with two margins on each land
(one on the leading edge and one on the heel). This gives four
guide points for straighter and more accurate holes.

copper, and similar alloys. Also for soft copper and aluminum sheet
where breakout "snatch" or burr is a problem. Polished
ground flutes ease chip ejection.
- Jobber Drill - Automotive - Oxide Finish
- For applications where Automotive Jobber length Drills with a tanged shank will be used
with positive drive split sleeve drivers.
- Jobber Drill - Carbide Tipped - Polished Finish
- For production drilling of cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and non-metals. Does not need
rigid set-up like solid carbide.
- Jobber Drill - Solid Carbide - 2 Flute - Polished
Finish

set-up for best results.
- Jobber
Drill - Solid Carbide - 3 Flute - Polished Finish

drill is ideal for CNC Machine Center.
- Jobber
Drill - Four Facet - 118° Point
- Four Facet (Pycron) Points have a primary
cutting lip facet and a secondary heel clearance facet. It is the same geometry used on end mills and is designed for long
life and harder metals. The secondary facet is ground to the midway point of the
chisel to produce a self-centering point. It is one of the most accurate points for
CNC Machine Centers. Use 118° Point for general purpose drilling.
- Jobber
Drill - Four Facet - 135° Point
- Four Facet (Pycron) Points have a primary
cutting lip facet and a secondary heel clearance facet. It is the same geometry used on end mills and is designed for long
life and harder metals. The secondary facet is ground to the midway point of the
chisel to produce a self-centering point. It is one of the most accurate points for
CNC Machine Centers. Use 135° Point for drilling work hardening
metals.
- Jobber
Drill - Helical "S" - 118° Point
- Helical Points have an S-shaped chisel which
offers exceptional self-centering capability and reduced thrust. It was one of the first drill point geometries
developed to save drilling time on CNC Machining Centers. Its four cutting edges
will cut so close to actual diameter that reaming can be eliminated or reduced.
Drill life is extended because the helical point wears evenly and will drill up to 15
times more holes than a conventional 118° point. Use 118° Point
for general purpose drilling.
- Jobber
Drill - Helical "S" - 135° Point
- Helical Points have an S-shaped chisel which
offers exceptional self-centering capability and reduced thrust. It was one of the first drill point geometries
developed to save drilling time on CNC Machining Centers. Its four cutting edges
will cut so close to actual diameter that reaming can be eliminated or reduced.
Drill life is extended because the helical point wears evenly and will drill up to 15
times more holes than a conventional 135° point. Use 135° Point
for drilling work hardening metals.
- Jobber Drill -
Helical Flat Bottom Point
- Helical Flat Bottom Points have the features
of both the helical and flat bottom point.
They combine the self-centering point, long life, and the secondary reaming ability
of the helical point with the burr-free breakthrough and the flat bottom or blind hole
drilling ability of a flat bottom point. It can be used for plastic,
wood, or metal.
- Jobber
Drill - Perfect Point®
- Perfect Point® Drills have 6 cutting edges and were initially developed by ICS to drill
through layers of metal and wood with no metal burr breakthrough or wood grain tears and
splinters. It will drill a perfectly round hole in metal, wood, and plastic.
They combine the best features of metal and wood cutting drills and can be used to
replace over a dozen styles of drill points for cutting.
- Jobber
Drill - Racon® Point
- Racon® Points are generated by grinding a radial cutting lip which cuts all along its
long arc. It creates little or no burr at breakthrough as the point is cutting all
the way through. Feed rates can be increased with this point because it dissipates
heat faster than a conventional 118° point. Drills with this point may produce 8-10
times the number of holes before sharpening compared to conventional drills. This
point is not self-centering and may require a guide bushing in specific applications.
It is used primarily for long production runs and for drilling
abrasive materials such as cast iron.
- Jobber
Drill - Bickford® Point
- Bickford® Points have the features of both the helical and Racon® Point. They
combine the self-centering point, long life, and secondary reaming ability of the helical
point with the long life, high feed rates, and burr-free breakthrough of the Racon®
Point. It is used primarily for producing accurate holes on CNC
Machining Centers.
- Jobber Drill - Double
Angle Point
- Double Angle (Cast Iron) Points have the
features of both the conventional 118° point
and the low angle 90° point. The secondary 90° point angle reduces wear and
chipping to the outside cutting lip corners. This point will improve hole size and
finish and may produce 3 times the number of holes before sharpening, compared to a
conventional 118° point. It is used primarily for drilling cast
iron, abrasive materials, and to reduce breakthrough burr in soft materials
and mild steel.
